The Sincerity of Preaching and Comfort in Afflictions

53downloadSecond Epistle Of Saint Paul To The Corinthians  Chapter 4: 1-18

[1] Therefore, seeing we have this ministration, according as we have obtained mercy, we faint not; [2] But we renounce the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’ s conscience, in the sight of God. [3] And if our gospel be also hid, it is hid to them that are lost, [4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them. [5] For we preach not ourselves, but Jesus Christ our Lord; and ourselves your servants through Jesus. Continue reading

Why Jesus said, “But of that day and hour, no one knows….but the Father only”

god_the_fatherTo begin with, this is one of many Paradoxes we have in the Bible. To quote Apocalypse 3:3, “If then thou shalt not watch, I will come as a thief and thou shalt not know at what hour I will come to thee.”:
Jesus also implies that the Father knows and because of the nature of this message it’s to be shared together with all three persons of the Trinity as they do beginning with the First chapter in the book of Revelation.1:10.  Here we have the obvious, as St. John was witnessing the Second Coming of Christ he acknowledge it was on the Lord’s Day. A Prophet is one who speaks in the place of God

megaphone2-795x380For those of you who are not aware of my role as a Traditional Catholic for the last 48 years.

Briefly: In the old testament we had High Priests and Prophets. The High Priest would speak for God on matters of faith and the Church. Prophets were called upon to keep everyone in line or not living up to their responsibilities,so in this sense you have Two people speaking in the place of God. Continue reading

It is sinful to slander or attack a Pope

1123575Dear Friends of the Faith:

It is sinful to slander or attack a Pope even if he be a Heretic Pope. My reply to these complainers is: Why do they accept him as pope while rejecting his authority? They are one and the same! Pre-Vatican II they would have been told to submit or incur excommunication. It’s because they want him to be pope and not be pope, not because they have a Catholic spirit or faith but because they feel they can say whatever they want and rebel with out a true and factual explanation. Betrayed by Affection

etrayalIn noticing a sign in a vacuum cleaner repair shop which said, “The vacuum created by a failure to communicate will quickly filled with rumor, misrepresentation, drivel, and poison.” From this I began to identify the four main problems which affect church members.

The first problem which most of us would agree on, of course, is the heresies which resulted because of the Vatican II Council. From this traditionalist have a common goal: To preserve and keep the faith in tact. Continue reading

VIDEO: Prayer Is The Key To Open Heaven Fr Benedict Hughes

What Father Hughes means is that, if your honest and have a love of the truth prayer will become the key to Heaven. God does not hear the prayers of hypocrites. Also what helps give strength to prayer is fasting and good spiritual readings like your daily Missal. John 9:31 now we that God does not hear sinners. but if anyone is a worshiper of God, and does his will, him he hears.

The Lord Giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord

Job121It is safe to say that this phrase, found in Job 1:21 will be applicable to all of us at some time in our life, whether its the first half of the phrase or the second half.
Hebrews 12:5-6  and you have forgotten the exhortation that is addressed to you as sons, saying, “My son, neglect not the discipline of the Lord, neither be thou weary when thou art rebuked by him.”For whom the Lord loves, he chastises; and he scourges every son whom he receives.” … do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. Deuteronomy 11:14
He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil. Continue reading

St. John the Baptist Nativity June 24

BAPFather Kevin O’ Sullivan commentaries 1957
Third Sunday of Advent
St. John the Baptist, Elias and God’s Kingdom

When John the Baptist appeared at the Jordan river, proclaiming that the kingdom of God was at hand (cf. Mt. 3:1-12; Mk. 1:2-8; Lk. 3:2-18) the Jews flocked to hear him. The expectation of the Promised Redeemer, the Messias, was strong at this time, and here was a Prophet announcing his proximate arrival and calling on the people to repent of their sins in order to be prepared to receive him. The Testimonial General Judgment & Pentecost Sunday

PENTACThe last day of Easter, in the United States falls on the eve of Trinity Sunday. This is also the last day of the Testimonial General Judgment, starting on Pentecost Sunday Middle East Time, This means, for us in the west, Saturday evening.

For the most part, Pentecost Sunday will always fall in May and occasionally in June. However if and when Rome changes and date set’s Easter in April it may fall in June all the time. Can’t say if any of the Traditionalist will accept these changes, but knowing Our Lord, I would say He would prefer to come back in the month of Our Lady. Continue reading

God Knows whats in the Hearts of Men Lk;16:15. For St. Valentine’s Day

St. ValentineAn article for the reason, I thought. Did it ever occur to you that Jesus didn’t say that God knows what’s in the thoughts of Men? The obvious reason being, that one’s intellect and knowledge of the faith does not in itself provide for a close relationship with God. The same applies with prayer. If one does not have the three basic virtues of faith, hope and charity, all else with God is in vain. We know the first of these is Charity.  St. Paul for one, expressed how charity had to come first before anything else.

I shall do a thing in Israel and his ears shall Tingle

VELLI shall do a thing in Israel and his ears shall Tingle.
He who has EARS to HEAR let him HEAR.

The vestments for the high priest required bells to be worn when entering the Sanctuary. (Holy of Holy’s) I can rightly say that most Catholics recognize the importance of bells in our Church. But what will come to a surprise to most is with “The bell, book and candle.” the bell got left out of the new Christian faith, until the fifth century, when Saint Paulinus, the Bishop of Nola, introduced them as a means to summon monks to worship. “There is no going back to the past” for the Mass, according to Francis

BACKOn March 7, 2015, Pope Francis celebrated Mass in the Roman parish of All Saints. He went there for the fiftieth anniversary of the first Mass celebrated in Italian by Paul VI in that very church.

Commenting on the Gospel of St. John in which Jesus chases the merchants from the Temple, the pope dwelt upon the expression: “you shall not make my Father’s house a house of trade” (John 2:16). For Francis, this refers to “a type of religiosity”: Jesus’ act is an “act of cleansing, of purification”. God “does not appreciate exterior worship performed with material sacrifices and based on personal interests,” he explained. It is “a reference to authentic worship, to a correspondence between liturgy and life; an appeal that applies in every age and even for us today — that correspondence between liturgy and life.” And he insisted: “This is not primarily a doctrine to be understood, or a rite to be performed; naturally it is also this, but in another way, it is essentially different: it is a font of life and of light for our pilgrimage of faith.” Continue reading

St. Bibiana and Emperor Julian the Apostate

julEmperor Julian the Apostate.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus (331–June 26, 363), was a Roman Emperor (361–363) of the Constantinian dynasty. He was the last pagan Roman Emperor, and tried to promote the Roman religious traditions of earlier centuries as a means of slowing the spread of Christianity. Because of this persecution the Christian countries lost the protection of the State and now had to form their own Armies. Rome being a country caused  the papacy to form their own Army and government which later lead to the corruption that inflicts secular activities.

395Saint Bibiana, Virgin and Martyr December 2
According to tradition. Bibiana belonged to a family of martyrs. When persecution broke out in ROME during the reign of Emperor Julian the Apostate, her Father Flavian, former prefect of the city, was branded in the face with a hot iron and sent into exile. Her mother, Dafrosa, was beheaded, Bibiana herself was handed over to a wicked woman named Rufina, to be corrupted by her; but she proved stronger than her temptress, and was finally condemned to death. About the year 363, she was beaten with leaded whips until she died. ~ St. Bibiana, Maryknoll Missal 1959
