Oh Oh Christmas Tree and Luther – To Catholics, the Christmas Tree is a Symbol of Moses and the Burning Bush

Story has it, Luther was walking in the woods at night and when he looked up to seeing the stars through the branches, that’s when he got the idea to put candles on the trees.
 
Germany is credited with starting the Christmas tree tradition as we now know it in the 16th century when devout Christians brought decorated trees into their homes. … It is a widely held belief that Martin Luther, the 16th-century Protestant reformer, first added lighted candles to a tree.

The Gospel for the last Sunday after Pentecost Explained

This Gospel gives us many signs and prophecies of the second coming of Christ, which of course we should be anticipating for the new year. Traditionally, Great Chastisements from God generally happen during the Lenten Season.
I will go down the line to these passages and try to show you how they apply to the Vatican Council II generation.
