Kamala Harris’ office rife with dissent

“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment,” said another person with direct knowledge of how Harris’ office is run. “It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s—.” MORE

Quit condemning the Catholic Church for Indian deaths

Reply to Jim Morris and the rest of the News Media.

One important cause of Native American depopulation during European contact was epidemic disease. The sixteenth through nineteenth centuries saw many different diseases strike Native American’s, North and South populations with considerable frequency. Many of the diseases, such as syphilis, smallpox, measles, mumps, and bubonic plague, were of European origin, and Native Americans exhibited little immunity because they had no previous exposure to those diseases. When you have this volume of deaths, there’s no time for grave stones and the like.

Shame shame shame on the news media for slandering Christians who often were killed for helping Indians from killing themselves, for the most part.
God’s revenge is here to stay, until judgment day. Weep America, weep.

When John the Baptist appeared at the Jordan river, proclaiming that the kingdom of God was at hand (cf. Mt. 3:1-12; Mk. 1:2-8; Lk. 3:2-18) the Jews flocked to hear him. (One has to remember that John came from the priestly TRIBE and was supposed to become a priest), The expectation of the Promised Redeemer, the Messiahs, was strong at this time, and here was a Prophet announcing his proximate arrival and calling on the people to repent of their sins in order to be prepared to receive him.

Our Increasingly Unrecognizable Civilization

A good look at today’s America

I live about 20 minutes south of the Canadian border, which used to be called the longest undefended frontier in the world. People moved freely back and forth across it all day every day. But now it’s been closed for over a year. At one point my daughter asked me to drive her up there, because there was a 30-minute opportunity for people on one side to talk to their friends on the other. “Sad!” as President Trump would say. It was like Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin during the Cold War, except that both sides are now like East Berlin. MORE
