God Knows whats in the Hearts of Men Lk;16:15. For St. Valentine’s Day

St. ValentineAn article for the reason, I thought. Did it ever occur to you that Jesus didn’t say that God knows what’s in the thoughts of Men? The obvious reason being, that one’s intellect and knowledge of the faith does not in itself provide for a close relationship with God. The same applies with prayer. If one does not have the three basic virtues of faith, hope and charity, all else with God is in vain. We know the first of these is Charity.  St. Paul for one, expressed how charity had to come first before anything else.

Without charity man looses the ability to reason. Charity in the Heart (soul sits in the blood) help’s the brain think more clearly in order to see the light of God and focus on the truth. From this we then become able to reason what the difference is between good and evil, right and wrong. So if, as Catholics you have a problem in understanding the difference between the Church of Our Fathers and the Vatican Council II church, it’s because you haven’t been honest with yourself and as a result did not take the time to search the Deposit of Faith for the answers. Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be open to you, says the Lord. Again if you do not understand that there is a difference between today’s church and the church of 50 years ago then this only tells God that you are lacking in your love of the truth.
From the bottom of my heart. Grace be with you, in Christ, Joseph
