Report: American Religiosity ‘Growing More Exceptional All the Time’

Contrary to popular opinion, religiosity is not on the decline in the United States but enjoys “persistent and exceptional intensity,” according to groundbreaking new research.

In an analysis of recent scholarship, Glenn T. Stanton notes that while moderate religion is indeed slipping in the United States, intense religious belief and practice, especially among Christians, is holding strong and even increasing. MORE

Criticism of Amnesty International

(AI) includes claims of selection bias, as well as ideology/foreign policy bias against either non-Western countries or Western-supported countries. Governments that have criticised AI include those of Israel,[1][2]the Democratic Republic of the Congo,[3] China,[4] Vietnam,[5] Russia,[6] and the United States,[7] which have complained about Amnesty International for what they assert is one-sided reporting, or a failure to treat threats to security as a mitigating factor. The actions of these governments—and of other governments critical of Amnesty International—have been the subject of human rights concerns voiced by Amnesty. The Catholic Church has also criticized Amnesty for its stance on abortion, particularly in Catholic-centric countries.[8]From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Key Cardinal Rebukes Pope Over Abuse Comment in Rare Move

A key U.S. cardinal distanced himself on Saturday from comments by Pope Francis on sexual abuse, saying they had caused “great pain,” a remarkable move pointing to divisions in the Roman Catholic Church over how to treat accusers. The implicit public rebuke of the pope by one of his top advisers came after two days of pointed attacks from victims and their advocates, and was another setback for Francis’ attempts to come to grips with sexual abuse in the Church. The Church in declaring the Pope is Infallible

This article written by a Sede Vacantist Catholic Priest is the basic position of most Traditional Catholic Priests and is well written. I must point out; however, as with most of these traditional Catholic priests that what is being ignored is the Perpetual successors in the Papacy by the same council they quote. The Vatican Council (1869) This council makes it clear that there can never be a break in the line of successors of Peter, (and there never has been accept for death resignation or exile.)  Now, even with all of the Anti-popes in the past history of the church there was also a living true Pope. The one important factor left out, in a word is, ANTI-CHRIST. The rest of these articles you will find on my web site under current and “Why Sede Vacante.”

Suspect arrested in killing of Blaze Bernstein

Not knowing the circumstances here, but the murderer seemed to get upset because Bernstein kissed him. My word to the wise for gays. Don’t kiss another guy unless he knows your gay and it’s O.K.
A Southern California prosecutor says the investigation is continuing into the killing of a University of Pennsylvania student even though a murder charge has already been filed against the suspect. MORE
