Well at least they have it near the week of the creation, ha…
No-Rooz, in word, means “New Day”. It is the new day that starts the year, traditionally the exact astronomical beginning of the Spring. Iranians take that as the beginning of the year. This exact second is called “Saal Tahvil”. No-Rooz with its’ uniquely Iranian characteristics has been celebrated for at least 3,000 years and is deeply rooted in the rituals and traditions of the Zoroastrian (This was the religion of ancient Persia before the advent of Islam in 7th century A.D.). Around March 20th would be the week of the creation by the solar calendar and spring full moon, so this year the creation week starts on 20th and Adam’s birth or his creation day would fall on Good Friday March 25th. Ex:12. The reading on Good Friday, Holy Saturday Gen: 1.How ironic that our Lord would die on the day He created Adam. Some say that they were both buried in the same area but I can’t vouch for that. North Korea’s provocative nuclear rhetoric has gotten so bad even the Kremlin has come out against the hermit kingdom, warning continued nuclear threats could justify an invasion.
The warning was issued in the form of a written statement from the Russian foreign ministry. It follows North Korea’s threat it would engage in a “preemptive and offensive nuclear strike” in reaction to the start of joint U.S.-South Korean war games Monday. MORE
Another good reason for the difference between American Jews and Israeli Jews is, American Jews don’t have Hamas breathing down their backs.
It all depends on what you mean by “Jewish.”
This week, the Pew Center released its study on Israeli Jewish identity. The survey (read my colleague Lauren Markoe’s report) was conducted in-person with 5,601 Israeli adults. It revealed a very complex, and in some ways disturbing, portrait of what it means to be Jewish in Israel.
Here is the bottom line. Israeli Jews are not like American Jews. Israeli Jews think differently. The report showed that a near majority of Jewish Israelis advocate expelling or transferring Arabs out of Israel. MORE
The beast of the Apocalypse grows bigger every month.
The history of relations between the Vatican, wherein is the Holy See of St Peter, and the various Orthodox churches has long been fraught with misunderstandings, disputes, and even violence. There were several brief periods of reunion of the Catholic Church with the Orthodox churches, following the schism of one thousand years ago. But complete communion has proved to be apparently impossible. MORE
Another reason why the Conciliar Church is not part of the Roman Catholic Church can be seen in this post for the March 11, 2016 on the ADLA:

The International Diabetes Federation’s 20th World Diabetes Congress, currently meeting in Montreal, released new data that shows 285 million people worldwide have diabetes, with residents of low-and middle-income countries bearing the brunt of the epidemic. Louisiana’s historic El Nino driven emergency flood rescue operations are occurring in so many areas, a first responder said Friday they were “everywhere.” The disaster had yet to even reach its main target, New Orleans and the remaining deep south Louisiana’s oil and gas heartland. It had only just begun drenching New Orleans’ white flight NorthShore, a fracker-coveted area north of the city’s Lake Pontchartrain. MORE
It’s interesting how Faggioli comfortably labels Trump as a xenophobic (prejudice against people from other countries) as if its purely factual. Faggioli’s hypocrisy is that in ‘labeling’ a man he obviously didn’t research properly even though Trumps life is an open book, Faggioli is actually ‘profiling’ and this act of profiling is in itself to the ‘politically correct’ an act of prejudice, making Faggioli himself a xenophobc.
In a confused and confusing article, Huffington Postwriter Massimo Faggioli declares that a majority of Catholic Republicans support Donald Trump in spite of the Pope’s alleged opposition to the Republican candidate, because of their underlying racism.
“What’s most interesting,” Faggioli writes, “is that the xenophobic and nationalist candidate has earned the vote of a majority of Catholic Republicans, either unaware or uninterested in the fact that Pope Francis said, just three weeks ago during his return flight from Mexico, that Trump’s message ‘is not Christian.’” MORE
Mexico is being swept by a wave of satanic ritual killings with exorcists saying there is an unprecedented demand for their services.
Father José Antonio Fortea, a leading Mexican exorcist, who once ordered the mass exorcism of the whole country, has warned of an increase in satanic ritual killings.
He said that “devil worship” stemmed from the so-called cult of Santa Muerte, depicted as a human corpse with all the flesh picked off the bones, and dressed like a bride for her wedding. MORE
‘A day late and a dollar short’… or more like ’47 years late and nothing short of meaningless dribble.’
Three years after the election of Pope Francis, Roman Catholic conservatives are growing increasingly worried that he is quietly unraveling the legacy of his predecessors. MORE
