Bed Bug Infestations In California Among Worst In Country

CALIFORNIA – Good night. Sleep tight. Try not to let the bed bugs bite, California!

The blood-sucking creepy crawlers have spread rapidly in California and other parts of the United States in recent years, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In fact, this year the Golden State’s three most populous regions made Orkin’s annual ranking of the top 50 bed bug cities in the country. MORE

Drought deepens dramatically in Southern California

There they go again. Less than a year after the state of California pronounced the drought emergency over, it–drought, that is–is back. phys.org reports:

California is rapidly plunging back into drought, with severe conditions now existing in Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles counties—home to one-fourth of the state’s population, a national drought monitor said Thursday.
The weekly report released by the U.S. Drought Monitor, a project of government agencies and other partners, also shows 44 percent of the state is now considered to be in a moderate drought. It’s a dramatic jump from just last week, when the figure was 13 percent. MORE

St. Valentine Feb. 14 ~ Italian Version

There’s a lot of confusion, actually, about St. Valentine, whose feast we celebrate today.
The most popular legend places Valentine near Rome in the third century, during the reign of the Emperor Claudius III (nicknamed Claudius the Cruel). According to the story, Claudius sought to expand the Roman Empire, and so needed a strong army to conquer new settlements. He was having trouble getting soldiers to join his military forces; and Claudius believed that this was because young men were unwilling to leave their wives and families. Therefore, the Emperor banned all marriages and engagements in Rome.(For Soldiers) Continue reading

Francis orders to surrender the Chinese underground church to the communist dragon

“…it is known that controlling the ordinations has always been a demand from the Chinese government “, says the bishop of Hong Kong, his eminence Joseph Zen.” recently, the holy father talked about this very cautiously and reassured us. But in November there was news that two legitimate bishops were asked to give rise to two illegitimate bishops, one of whom is excommunicated. This concerns us, it would be a tragic thing for the church in China. For many years it was said that you should resist, be faithful, now ask to surrender! So, what for? One surrenders without obtaining anything, because this chinese government feels strong, scary, has economic means; it seems a surrender of the weak with the strong… but the reality is that we in the church have a lot of strength, is a force Spiritual.

This is really hard to understand. We can’t understand what they want to grant, the government wants to control everything! And we deliver everything! And this is incomprehensible. If the Vatican orders surrender, some, after years of struggle and deprivation, will accept; surrender is easy. But there will be those who will continue to oppose and say that the church has always told him that an independent church is objectively schismatic. The Popes avoid the word “Schism” for mercy. How can anyone say that it is progress to force everyone into this church? Amazing, just amazing.” source: Infocatólica.

The Mass is more than a “Sacrifice.”

Catholic’s can get memorized into an addiction like the rest of the religious world. A good example is how the protestants use the Bible as the ONLY word of God and of course we know that the Church is and always speaks in the place of God. We also forget that it’s all three persons of the Trinity not just JESUS that the Church speaks for. Another example is how were all sinners, but this term is a generic term as the the true definition of a sinner is someone who does evil with the intent to do evil, UN-repetitive. These are those who go to the eternal fire. Continue reading

Why Jesus had to die for making the Angels & Man

IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED

by Joseph Saraceno

We know God created us. The Church tells us that He wants us to know Him to love Him and to serve Him in this world and in the next. Could it also have been that without a creation, there would be no one to know of the existence of God? Not that God needs to have anyone to know He exists, but that we creatures might be able to share His love and goodness. This could give a probable cause for creation. Continue reading
