KSU president takes $90,000 pay cut to increase wage of workers

The interim president of Kentucky State University has chosen to show financial compassion for the University’s lowest paid workers by decreasing his salary by nearly $90,000.
Raymond Burse’s pay cut will contribute to a wage increase for over 24 employees at KSU, some of whom were earning the federal minimum of $7.25 per hour. The workers will now earn $10.25 per hour. MORE

The theme in the past was, “it didn’t mater if you won or lost, but how you played the game.” Today it’s “win the game anyway you can or get out.” So in order to fit the new standards most athletes tend to depend on steroids and other drugs. Mangers steal signs and signals from the opposing teams and now it’s O. K. to be openly gay. Is this the signal and play calling we want to send to our future generation? Who do we blame if down the road, we lose in the game of life?
