Another School Shooting

schoolOn reflecting on this recent school shooting by Jaylen Fryberg in the State of Washington, I noticed a similar trait that he had along with other shooters involving high school students. And that is they all seemed to have all of the material things that they need in life plus whatever is needed to be entertained.

Another trait among many of these shooters is the lack of a spiritual life. God has taken a back seat with them and their parents priorities . Hardly does society or the news media look into the lack of spiritual activity in these shooters lives. It’s even politically incorrect today to even bring the subject up. I could remember a common paraphrase in the past, was, “The devil made me do it.”  But today, there is no devil, for the most part,  and as a result no one feels a need to protect their children from the evil spirits of, hate, envy , jealously and the like. Religious spiritual participation  is what keeps these evil spirits at bay and the lack of it gives theses spirits an opened door to increase the current havoc among our children.
Adding to the tragic affair is why society seeks God’ solace after the tragedy when they ignore His help on a daily basis,  which could have prevented it in the first place.
