Bill promised David he would do what he could to help in getting legislation passed for homosexual rights. However when Bill bowed down to the military with, “Don’t ask don’t tell,” David felt betrayed. As a result in the 2008 campaign he opted for Obama over Hillary because Obama agreed to do what Bill Clinton failed to do. VATICAN OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZES ‘STATE OF PALESTINE’ IN NEW TREATY
The as yet unsigned treaty was finalized on Wednesday, and states that the Holy See has switched its diplomatic relations from the Palestine Liberation Organization to the state of Palestine.
The agreement “aims to enhance the life and activities of the Catholic Church and its recognition at the judicial level,” the Vatican’s foreign minister, Monsignor Antoine Camilleri, said, referring to the church’s activities in areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority. MORE
