Dear faithful,
I have learned on Cathinfo, (and checked on DICI and it is confirmed by them today), that the General Chapter of the SSPX has created two new high-echelon administrative posts to its managerial structure. Indeed, the Chapter has instituted the function of “General Councillor”, to be exercised by two SSPX members elected by the Chapter. Their official duty is to assist the General Superior (and his two Assistants) in the daily administration of the Society. They will be part of the General Council. Continue reading

House votes to prevent IRS from punishing churches engaging in politics

The House voted Thursday to make it harder for the government to punish churches that get involved in politics.
In a 217-199 vote, lawmakers approved legislation barring the IRS from revoking the tax-exempt status of churches that back political candidates, unless it is specifically approved by the commissioner of the agency. MORE

On July 11, 2018 Stephen Gregory Heiner, beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away at the age of 79. He will be missed by his wife of 43 years, Margaret, his twin sister Michelle, his children Stephen, Clare, Christienne, Rachel, 3 sons-in-law, and 11 grandchildren.
He was known as a kind and gentle man who knew no stranger. He taught us all to love life and cherish our Faith and family.

Most Early and today’s American Christians believed that animals do not have souls like human beings. Most of our founding fathers were European Christians, Jews and Black Slaves. Later came the Chinese, Other Asians, people from India and other 3rd world countries specifically so in the last 50 years. There are at least 15 different animals that are widely popular and significant religious ritual of animal worship, also called zoolatry, certain animals are considered as deities. They depict an important aspect of humanity and our association with our planet. Since the ancient times, these sacred animals have been worshiped in different cultures and traditions because of their divine characteristics and mythological reasons.
