A Blessings of Christmas to all,

It has been quite a good year indeed! Land for a friary has been chosen, purchased and blessed in the last few weeks. It was hoped to offer a longer description, but it is 2.7 acres in North Lafayette secured for this home.  So many who have prayed for aFoundation of Friars and the Third Order secular continues to grow, thirty strong now. Above all, I ask prayers for religious who might live the regular community life and especially for another to join me: a professed Franciscan
Priest or Brother.  What a blessing to find such a one, no matter their years.  Simply to have another to carry their cross with me would be a blessing beyond compare and an encouragement for candidates to join. The mission to South Africa continues to need support for the 1 or 2 opportunities they
have for the Sacraments.  Your charity for fellow Catholics is a work of Mercy. There have been so many years of apprehension for the Faithful in every sphere, but God has given us an exceptional year and in return requires of us great sacrifice to make straight the way for His Kingdom. May we each do our power in bringing about His Kingdom by prayer and fasting and watching for the Great King of Peace.    Christmas 2016    May His Peace be yours this Holy Season,and throughout the Year of Grace 2017.  Your intentions will be especially remembered at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on
Christmas Day, and in the Masses offered the seven following days.   Wishing you the blessings of
