Dear friends , My public letter predicting President Obama’s defeat, (printed by the Daily Breeze) didn’t happen because the majority of the protestants would not vote for Romney because he was a Mormon in the 2012 election. This is evident by the Republicans who did win the control of the House, 201 to 234, and regained the majority of the Senate in the 114th Congress, which started in January 2015. This and add the Catholic vote contributed to Hillary’s defeat. Even Rev Franklin Graham admits. “God Intervened Nov. 8 to Stop ‘Atheistic, Progressive Agenda’ in America.” However the damage has been done, thanks to those protestants who let Obama win the second term and I doubt if Trump’s victory will be enough to bring us back to the Christian nation we once were. In Christ, Joseph

Obama needs the faithful
Can President Obama win re-election without the support of religious people? Obama seems to think so. But his lead over Mitt Romney has dwindled ever since his encounters with the religious groups. He upset Catholic bishops by trying to mandate birth control coverage by Catholic institutions. Then Baptist Franklin Graham got upset about Obama’s support of same-sex marriage. Jews were upset when Obama and the former president of France were caught off microphone complaining about Israel’s lack of cooperation in the peace process. I’m sure he’s going to lose the Mormon vote, as Mormons will most likely support one of their own. As for the Muslims, I’d say most are split with Obama’s policies. So, barring some miracle, I see Obama losing in the fall, and miracles are usually associated with religions.
