Almost 500 Years Ago, The Pope Stole Time

61downloadThis is the funnest story I’ve read in a long time

So it’s October and Reformation Day is just around the corner. You know, that day when Protestants worldwide celebrate justification by faith alone, by grace alone, by Christ alone, all alone, because most of their churches are emptying faster than a runway model’s transverse colon during Fashion Week. VIDEO: Hispanic Mass in ex-Baptist megachurch shows how Nashville is changing

57downloadEvery Sunday, the Catholic prayers and songs of the Sagrado Corazon congregation fill the 3,300-seat auditorium of a former Southern Baptist megachurch with the Spanish language.

From young to old, members filled the pews on the lower level of the vast space and even spilled into the upper deck during a 10 a.m. service on a Sunday in October. The priest celebrated the Mass in Spanish from a platform at the front of the auditorium as the congregation stood, sang, kneeled and prayed in unison at various moments during the service. MORE

Dear Reader:
This past week has been an introduction to the what the Catholic Church has to expect under the regime of Hilary Clinton and the Rainbow House. The Rainbow House appointee Chairman Martin R. Castro of the US Commission on Civil Rights had a report drawn up where he states:

The Goddess of Democracy

31sino-statue01-tmagarticleEver wonder where, at least in the last 50 years or so, the sources for all terrorists and revolutions are coming from?

Primarily the United States, who infamously funds Freedom and Democracy programs.

You have colleges and professors promoting disobedience to lawful authority.

Incorporate the Communist, National party, (Nazis) groups adding to anarchy.

I can remember U.C. Berkeley becoming the Communist center of California. Located there was the Western Branch of the, “Fair play for Cuba Committee.”  Catholic Priests organized against the Vietnam war. The Satanic symbol of the “Upside Down Cross,” signifying the “Cross of Nero,” a symbol of the Hippie generation. What does Goddess of Democracy stand for? Superfluous rights of abortion, homosexuality, divorce, equal rights for children, same sex marriage, and consensual wife swapping. Opposing parental spanking, Capital Punishment and ultimately, God and Country relationship.

A 33-foot-high statue became a mute yet powerful actor in the final drama on Tiananmen Square in 1989, reinvigorating the student protests and infuriating Communist Party leaders who crushed the demonstrations, and the statue, five days after its birth.  MORE

Repentance Without Restitution

lead-me-to-repentanceRestitution is one of the least understood, yet most important, Bible teachings. This important principle is taught in both the Old and New Testaments. Yet today in the Church of God, it is commonly taught that “When a person repents and is baptized, his sins are forgiven. Therefore, he is not required to perform any restitution at all.” This is an abysmal lack of understanding of what repentance is, and of the guiding influence of the Almighty’s Holy Spirit. Let us examine the Bible teaching of restitution, and see how those truly repentant responded to the leading of the Spirit. Continue reading

Sermon for Saint Luke, the Evangelist Commemorating the 21st Sunday after Pentecost

218463-pOctober 18, 2015 by Monsignor Patrick Perez

St Luke evangelist

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Monsignor began the sermon by reciting the Hail Mary.

Because of Oktoberfest I’ll be short, but I didn’t want to let today’s feast go without a thought or two to take with you for your spiritual life and into your life in general. If you think about it, people ask questions from time to time like, Do you have a doctor that you recommend? or Do you have a favorite doctor? Continue reading
