Charles Evers, the brother of slain civil rights advocate Medgar Evers and a leader in his own right, is endorsing Donald Trump for president. According to the Clarion-Ledger of Mississippi, Evers said of the Republican frontrunner, “I believe in him first of all because he’s a businessman.” The 93-year-old, who is a businessman himself and former Republican senatorial candidate, said of Trump “I think jobs are badly needed in Mississippi.” MORE
