Based upon information obtained from a federal spending database, a Kansas City-area mosque with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood has received nearly $3 million in federal grants over the past several years.

According to The Daily Caller, the Islamic Center of Greater Kansas City has received $2,739,891 in taxpayer money via the Department of Agriculture, mostly by way of food stamps issued through the Women, Infant and Children nutrition program for the mosque’s Crescent Clinic.

The latest dispersal of federal funds on record occurred on Oct. 1 in the amount of $327,436. MORE
