As you can see by this article that there are many similarities between what Christians believe and what the Islamic faith believe. They have the opinion that one does not go to heaven until the general judgement which coincidentally this teaching was also taught by Pope John XXII in the 1300’s until corrected by his successor. However as you can see they have a clause as stated here.
