Father Feroldi wishes you a happy Mawlid
In 2015, the celebration of the birth of Jesus coincides with the one of Mohammad. This means that in December 24 the complete Arab world will be feasting their prophet’s birth while the Christian world celebrates the vigil and at midnight the birth of Jesus.
Fr Vincent Feroldi, Director of the National Service for the Relations with Muslims explains that the Algerians and Moroccans are speaking of this, and the dioceses of Metz, Angers, Lille… (in France) etc. working towards this event.
