AFTER PARIS, POPE FRANCIS TELLS CHRISTIANS TO BE READY FOR THE END OF THE WORLD

ENDTwo days after the horrendous jihadist attacks in Paris, Pope Francis preached about the “end times,” encouraging his hearers to be vigilant and ready at any moment to meet God face to face.

In his Angelus message Sunday, the Pope invited the ten thousand pilgrims gathered in Saint Peter’s Square to think about their death, the day they will meet God and give an accounting for their life.

The Pope also explicitly addressed the Paris carnage, expressing his “deep sorrow for the terrorist attacks that bloodied France late on Friday, causing many casualties.” Along with offering his condolences to the victims and their families, Francis condemned the massacre as an “unspeakable affront to human dignity.” MORE

VIDEO: How Prozac launched a cultural revolution

When Prozac was introduced in 1988, the green-and-cream pill to treat depression launched a cultural revolution that continues to echo.

It was called the “wonder drug that works wonder” and Prozac lived up to its billing. It provided a new way of treating depression, gained celebrity status, and eventually extended the promise of changing lives – whether you were depressed or not. It also ushered in a revolution in marketing that can be seen today in everything from Prilosec to Viagra. SOURCE

The French disaster can be summed up in one word,

Negligence.“Negligence.”

The French disaster can be summed up in retrospect, because, all of the western world forgets that we are at war. France had just stepped up their campaign against Isis. Signals should have been sent out to the public at large and any large groups of public activities to take precautionary measures. In the case of the concert promoters, why couldn’t they have easily hired four or more undercover police officers who would have been armed, wearing bullet proof vests with activated type phone alarms to the nearest police station? These undercover officers, placed in the proper places,  would have diminish the carnage considerably.

We spend all this money to have a good time and very little to see that those who are attending live to enjoy it.

Why the Rapture isn’t needed and THE FINAL DIVINE CHASTISEMENT

poofWhen it comes to the Final and Divine Chastisement, this is one of those subjects which, again, has been kicked around all through the ages since the flood wiped out the human race—with the exception of Noe and his family. As in the case of the flood, most DIVINE chastisements are directed at the enemies of the faith— Sodom and Gomorrah , the ten plagues of Egypt (where every first born of the Egyptians died)—and the faithful were protected. We read in Deuteronomy (32:41): “I will render vengeance to my enemies, and repay them that hate me”; and Ephesians (5:6): “The wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.” Continue reading

Martin I lay too sick to fight on a couch in front of the altar when the soldiers burst into the Lateran basilica. He had come to the church when he heard the soldiers had landed. But the thought of kidnapping a sick pope from the house of God didn’t stop the soldiers from grabbing him and hustling him down to their ship. Continue reading
