ELESAnimal rights groups are more concerned for animals than Abortion of humans.

The Greatest Show on Earth is retiring the 13 Asian elephants currently traveling with the show, Ringling Bros. parent companyFeld Entertainment announced in a press release today. The change, which the company calls “unprecedented”, comes after a barrage of protests by animal rights activists who claim the circus abuses their elephants. Ringling Bros. refutes these claims, but is discontinuing the elephant acts to align their shows with consumer preferences, according to the press statement. By 2018, the elephants will join a herd of more than 40 elephants at the company’s Center for Elephant Conservation in Florida. MORE
