Faith is the subjective pre-condition for the communication of eternal life, and for the preservation from damnation at the judgment.

In so much as the need to be prepared for our personal judgment, many  of the enemies of the faith will not make it past the Great Biblical Chastisement. Those who survive need to focus on the fact that Purgatory will not be available for us. This is what the Church teaches.

One should have the perseverance to withstand the temptations of mortal sin, for what should be a short period of time, from the Great Biblical Chastisement to the 1st day of the General Judgment on Pentecost Sunday. On that day, depending what part of the world you live, you will be transformed, “In a twinkling of the eye,” from our bodies to our Ghost and the whole world will turn into Sunday Morning.

Now I don’t believe that this will be the glorified ghost that we put on for those who go to heaven, but a more human like ghost for the particular judgment and the general judgment. I see this being applied as well for those who come from heaven and hell, as they get reunited to their earthly bodies. What happens next is more of aTestimonial for our destination for all to see. This takes about a week in man’s time. However the Scriptures seem to indicate that not all will witness this, as the current AntiChrist(s) and False Prophet(s) will go straight to Hell on the first day. This is noted in Apocalypse 19:20.

The Church teaches us what the principle signs are for the End of this World. The preaching of the Gospel throughout the World. The return of the, “Obstinate Jews,” to Jerusalem.  The last AntiChrists and False prophets. A defection, (Schism) of the faith. The Church goes into the wilderness and the two or three witnesses.

The Great Apostasy “Officially,” started on November 19, 1969 with Paul VI rejection of the, “Ottaviani Intervention.” and all of the thousands of other Traditional Catholic pleas. As best as I can calculate, the Great Apostasy lasts about 45 to 50 years. I had thought 35 years in the past, (1999) so as you can see by what is happening in the world today, we are getting there fast.
