Laity’s Role in today’s Mystical Body of Christ

mystical_bodyWe read in Corinthians 12:25-31 the different roles we have in the Mystical body of Christ. 25 That there might be no schism in the body: but the members might be mutually careful one for another. 26 And if one member suffer any thing, all the members suffer with it: or if one member glory, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ and members of member. 28 And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors: after that miracles: then the graces of healings, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all doctors? 30 Are all workers of miracles? Have all the grace of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But be zealous for the better gifts. And I shew unto you yet a more excellent way.”
However these roles are primary for the Religious and as Catholics we have always respect the Church’s position on the separation the role of the Religious and the Laity. However since the Vatican II Council, we find ourselves in a situation that has never happened before, depending on what your opinion is with the the Vatican II Church. Sede Vacantists find themselves without any formal (public) jurisdiction. Traditionalists on the other hand are being disobedient to what they call, “the new Church, authority.” Regardless which position one takes, we are empowered and obligated by our Baptism and Confirmation to share the “Good News,” in word and deed. I’m sure all of you agree the need of the Laity in today’s Church crisis as we see it posted everywhere on the internet. One comment was made to me, was that I, “was preaching to the choir.” My reaction to this comment is the reason for this letter. The problem is WE ARE NOT ALL SINGING THE SAME SONG.

Once again Fathers cannot handle their ecclesiastical obligations as it is. You can’t expect them to do the Evangelism as well. What about unity. Did you know that causing division among the Church members is a mortal sin?
The Traditional Bishops are NEVER going to bring us unity without the Layman’s participation and involvement in these issues.  Right now, we are lucky to have three years left, however, now that Francis is signaling an early retirement or death tells me he won’t be fulfilling those few prophesies that are left? It’s going to be close and at the most a few years after he leaves.

Again, It has been my experience that Traditional Catholics enjoy a harmonious relationship and can help bring unity among the Brethren once they become aware of these five following realities:

1.We are living in the Great Apostasy spoken of by St.Paul the Apostle.
2.The Vatican II Anti Christs have taken over the chair of St. Peter and will possess it until Christ returns.
3.There will never be another  True Pope.
4. Christ will be back in the Generation of the Great Apostasy. Matt.24:34.
5. The general judgment starts on Pentecost Sunday. After the Biblical great chastisement  (Middle East time for Pentecost Sunday)
