What Washington needs is a law that penalizes both the House and the Senate if they do not pass a budget or rise the dept ceiling on time. The penalty phase would be a 25% deduction in wages per day for the first 5 days. A 40% deduction after the 5th day up until they passed these demands. After all if we have to suffer for their inability to compromise then they should bear some of the suffering as well. Problem is do they have the guts to pass a bill like this. Maybe if we get a majority of one party it could happen.
