Jesse Jackson Jr. case shows crime pays for some: Posted: 08/20/13, 2:13 PM PDT |
Talk about a travesty of justice. Who wouldn’t trade 21/2 years in jail for $750,000? This just sends a signal to all public officials that crime does pay for them.
It’s getting more and more difficult for the average guy today to respect our public officials. It’s one thing to have to put up with a Congress that is gridlocked and disloyal to America, and now we are asked to put up with their thievery as well. We need another party to send a signal to the other two to clean up their acts or find another job. Or just vote all of the incumbents out in the following elections.
