Christmas Day Bombing Raised Fears of Donald Trump

Nashville bombing

At 5:30 a.m. on December 25, Christmas Day, a large mobile home detonated on a deserted stretch of 2nd Avenue North in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, nearly collapsing one building and damaging 41 others, shattering windows and sending shrapnel into the early morning street. Trees were knocked to the ground, and Second Avenue took on the charred look of a battleground. MORE

Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men of good will

As Americans and in other protestant countries, the Angels quotes for Christ’s birth in the Christmas cards is the protestant version. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14. The original Catholic version was “Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace to men of good will.” Now I won’t go so far as to say that the protestant version is heretical but if we are to take the word Good, which comes from God and replace it with the word God, you have, theirs “God wills toward men.” and ours “peace to men of GODS will.” As you can see theirs the emphasis is on MAN and ours on GOD. Unfortunately, the new Catholic Bibles have, something like, “peace to those favored men.” or with “whom he is pleased.”

Prayer to St. Thomas the Apostle

Lord Jesus, St. Thomas doubted Your resurrection until he touched Your wounds. After Pentecost, You called him to become a missionary in India, but he doubted again and said no. He changed his mind only after being taken into slavery by a merchant who happened to be going to India. Once he was cured of his doubt, You freed him and he began the work You had called him to do. As the patron saint against doubt, I ask him to pray for me when I question the direction in which You are leading me. Forgive me for mistrusting You, Lord, and help me to grow from the experience. Saint Thomas, pray for me. Amen.

Catholic Laity will be called upon in the End Times

This has the book copies posted as well

Catholic Laity will be called upon in the End Times. Catholic Action, the organized work of the laity that is performed under the direction or mandate of a bishop in the fields of dogma, morals, liturgy, education, and charity. In 1927

Pope Pius XI gave the term its classical definition as “the participation of the laity in the apostolate of the hierarchy.” As Catholics we know where the line is between the religious and the laity. However, what has been puzzling to me is that, even with all the laity, (Men and Woman) who have spoken out and written against the Vatican Il Council fail to grasp our current role in the Mystical body of Christ. Especially with the fact that since the close of the heretical council, (depending on your point of view) we wound up without a formal, jurisdictional hierarchy.
