The church has always reached out to sinners, but does not condone sinful behavior. In as much as homosexual behavior and abortion ranks among the capital sins, so does oppression of the poor and defrauding laborers of their wages. I seldom hear the level of outrage leveled at gays and abortion which should be equally leveled at these other two capital sins just as prevalent in today’s society, if not more so.
It’s never really been that way from the beginning. The State violates the First Amendment every time it grants a divorce to someone who was married in a Religious Institution. The Religious Institutions don’t sue because the State provides subsidies to the these Institutions.This being the case if a Religious School wants to exclude Secular People from admission to their Schools they have the right to do so, providing they do not accept state subsides. We live in a society who wants to control free will. Something even God can not do. As human beings we posses an imperfect nature and as a result we will always clash with the differences we have with one another.
Back when we had the blue laws (Christian State Laws), This kept adultery, fornication and homosexuality criminal. Unfortunately this changed and they became a civil matter because of the courts, not the will of the people. Most had trouble accepting these changes. Now society (or the courts) is asking us to have tolerance for immorality to the point of having it being displayed publicly.
Well humans are not Robots. Right and wrong, truth and error come into play here and we will always be divided between them. As long as we have this imperfect nature their will always be conflict unless we become perfect in the virtue of faith.

Pope Francis says he has no intention of quitting the papacy — a possibility opened up by his predecessor Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI.
The pope, responding to a question from a young person at a Vatican event, said on Sunday “I never thought of quitting being pope, or of leaving because of the many responsibilities.”
The pope has previously said he envisioned a short papacy before going on “to the Father’s house,” but he has never specifically ruled out following in Benedict’s footsteps. Benedict retired in 2013, the first pope to step down in 600 years.
The pope spoke at a Vatican gathering for the Scholas Occurentes global educational initiative that he launched. George Clooney, accompanied by his wife Amal, and Richard Gere were honored for their contributions. SOURCE
Dear Friends – With Francis’ latest exhortation, Amoris Laetitia, on marriage and the family, the issue of classroom sex instruction for children and youth has reared its evil head again. The following article is written in opposition to Francis’ call for more so-called “sex education.” Many of you have been fighting the battle against K-12 sex initiation program in parochial, private and public schools for as long as I have, almost half a century.
