A new interactive map shows the flow of more than a million migrants who have made their way to Europe in the past three years.
Each dot represents between 25 and 50 people who were among the more than 1.3million seeking asylum in the Eurozone from 2012 to the end of 2015.
And by hovering over individual countries you can see how many migrants they have taken – or in some cases have lost – over the past three years.
The map has been plotted based on figures from the United Nations High Commission for Refugees who say in excess of 680,000 have arrived in Europe in the past ten months. MORE ON MAP

About 71 percent of the Earth’s surface is covered by water, but unfortunately most of that liquid nourishment isn’t suitable for drinking because it’s salt water found in the oceans. Removing salt from water is not an easy process, either. Current desalination technology requires a high amount of energy, making it prohibitively expensive — especially in developing nations. But don’t worry: a team of researchers at Alexandria University in Egypt have bypassed these power-hungry methods and created a simple filtration technique; the details of which are described in a research paper published last month in Water Science and Technology. San Ramon appears to have broken a new earthquake record over the last two weeks: A total of 408 small quakes have struck the East Bay city, almost four times the amount of quakes set in 2003 in half the time period.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that as of Oct. 13, the Northern California Seismic Network had detected 408 earthquakes – at least a dozen since 10 p.m. on Monday, with other quakes spilling into the wee hours of Tuesday. Most quakes have clocked in with magnitudes ranging from 2.0 to 3.0. MORE
