The Neglect of St. Joseph

Very few Catholics are aware of the fact that devotion, as we know it today was lacking for St. Joseph until a little over 200 years ago. Unfortunately just when his star was reaching the heavens Satan moved in to start he’s deviation by putting his name in the canon of the Mass by pope John XXIII (Apoc. 9).  However God not being blind to Satan’s game plan used another Joseph, (of the Italian band)

It never ceases to amaze me how Satan use’s the same old tactics, generation after generation in bringing down mankind to his level. Nothing changes but the faces, is a term I use to use when companies changed management positions. With Traditional Catholics the in house fighting continues unabated and you would honestly believe that they find enjoyment over everyone’s pain and sufferings.

Is this unearthed fishing village the birthplace of three of Jesus’ apostles?

Archaeologists excavating in northern Israel believe they may have discovered the biblical city of Bethsaida, the hometown of three of Jesus’ apostles on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

For decades archaeologists have searched for the fishing village where apostles Peter, Andrew and Philip lived, according to the New Testament (John 1:44; 12:21). Three possible sites in the area had been identified but all were inconclusive. MORE

One of the reasons for the transfiguration of Our Lord  was to demonstrate the relationship between our body and our ghost, (soul). The reason being to what transpires during the general judgment. ” In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,…” I Corin. 15:52.  Often to illustrate this at some of my lectures, I would go over to a light switch. Then point to the light bulb in the off position. Then say,  with the light bulb turned off, think of it as our physical body. When God turns the switch on, you go immediately to your Ghost, then those who go to heaven, in our glorified body, (We become like the Angels)  However once in this state of our Ghosts it still takes a week during the general judgment for all to be judged then after sent to their destinations.
