Next week I will return to the thesis on Sacrament of Confirmation, concluding the treatise on Mary, Co-Redemptrix, in this issue. In between, on April 25 the Church will be asking Divine intervention as she prays the Litanies and processes through the streets. You may say this is now rarely done, and this may be true. Still, it is part of the Church Tradition and it is wonderful in those communities where it is still possible. The spirit of the liturgy will continue to be that of asking God’s divine intervention that we may be protected from natural disasters, wars, pestilence and famine. Continue reading →

In case you missed my article on the Creation falling during the same time as first day of the Passion. I became puzzled why Palm Sunday wasn’t one of the mystery’s of the Rosary. In my creation article I point out that Palm Sunday was the first day of the creation. So the significance here is, that the Jews are hailing Jesus as King, King of the Jews on the day He started the creation. Wow, I said this gives Palm Sunday a little more credibility. I decided to check out the Jewish calendar and customs. I have a Jewish teaching Catalog that I use to learn from. Well guess what, The Jews have many New Years or dedication Years. There first Month of the year is not their creation month. Instead Nissan is dedicated to all their “Reign of Kings.” Wow again, here is The King of Kings riding into Jerusalem on a donkey on their Reign of KINGS DAY, (If true) and hardly anyone can see the connection. Oh Oh but wait a minute, I see also that their New Years day is also their day of the creation, but it’s the month of Tishri-our September-October. Obviously one of us has the wrong month? On April 4, the presidents of Iran, Russia and Turkey met in Ankara to hold a trilateral summit within the framework of the Astana process to discuss the latest developments in Syria. It was the second round of high-level talks between the three heads of government after their first meeting in Russia’s Black Sea resort of Sochi on Nov. 22, in which they agreed to continue their contacts in order to facilitate the process of finding a peaceful solution to the Syrian conflict. Believe it or not. I watched this movie when I was a teenager and the one song they play was “Again” I forgot the name but the tune never left me. It took me awhile to put the song with the right picture together but finally found it and I was able to watch mostly all of it last night on the computer. Of course I fast forward some scenes which were not necessary to watch still took 45 min.

Campaign season is in full swing, we are only two months away from California’s all-important top two primary. On June 5th, I will need your vote. To date, I have driven over 42,000 miles and attended over 300 events fighting for fair elections in California. MORE
