River’s Bright Orange Makeover Signals Disaster for Residents and Wildlife

Ordinarily, the Animas River is packed with kayaks, inner tubes, and fishermen. This weekend, however, there were few visitors.

That’s because earlier this week, more than a million gallons of contaminated water from an old gold mine poured into the Animas River in Durango, Colorado. Potentially dangerous levels of lead, arsenic, cadmium, and aluminum have made the water dangerous for consumption, water sports, and wildlife. Old sediment has turned it into a murky mustard-colored mess. MORE

3000 evacuated as fires burn for 3rd day in Spain

3000Strong winds have fanned wildfires that have raged out of control for three days in southwestern Spain and made firefighting difficult, forcing the evacuation of 3,000 inhabitants, officials said Saturday.

Some 1,000 residents were evacuated from the town Hoyos in the early hours of the morning after overnight winds “reversed all yesterday’s firefighting achievements,” said Extremadura regional government president Guillermo Fernandez Vara.

Fernandez Vara said more than 25 square miles had burned since flames were detected Thursday in the Sierra de Gata – a region of outstanding natural beauty. MORE

The UK has now become the first country to approve laws to allow the creation of babies from three people.

The modified version of IVF has passed its final legislative obstacle after being approved by the House of Lords.

The fertility regulator will now decide how to license the procedure to prevent babies inheriting deadly genetic diseases. The first baby could be born as early as 2016. MORE

In other words, this Pope who says he endorses perversions repugnant to true Bible-believing Catholics, is allegedly going to announce the formation of the New World Order and that all 1 billion plus Catholics should willing to submit to the New World Order as is their duty as per the bastardized interpretation of Romans 13.
