Church in Congo suspends sacraments as Ebola spreads

Why don’t priest’s use masks and medical gloves? I’m sure the Vatican can provide them.  No doubt St. Damian of Molokai would approve. And pure clean water bottles for Holy Water and Baptism’s. With low-tech solutions, there are options.

An Ebola virus outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo last month has led Roman Catholics to stop administering several sacraments temporarily in an attempt to keep the deadly disease from spreading. MORE

Marilyn Monroe’s iconic pose in front of Stamford church draws mixed reactions

Mixed reactions? That’s an understatement! Someone ought to paint True Religion Designer Jeans over her rear end.

It’s a jarring sight for members of the First Congregational Church: The underwear-clad buttocks of Marilyn Monroe mooning the downtown parish.

A 26-foot Seward Johnson statue illustrating the star in her iconic pose from “The Seven Year Itch” was installed this week in Latham Park as part of the Stamford Downtown Special Services District’s “Art in Public Places” series that lasts through the summer. MORE

Dear Reader:

Sins Against Faith:

Taken from.”Deliverance Prayers,” by Father Chad Ripperger
In recalling what the Church has always taught, Father Ripperger reminds us of the following “Sins Against Faith.”
Willful  doubt of any article of faith: deliberate ignorance of the truths of faith which ought to be known; neglect in instructing oneself in the faith according to one’s state in life; rash credulity (e.g. giving credence to private revelation to easily or believing in a private revelations which has been condemned by the  lawful Church authorities.) apostasy; heresy; indifferent-ism (to believe that one religion is as good as another, and that all religions are equally true and pleasing to God, or that one is free to accept or reject any or all religions); reading or circulating books or writings against the Catholic belief or practice in such wise as to jeopardize one’s or another s faith; to remain silent when asked about one’s faith; engaging in schismatic or heretical worship; joining or supporting masonic groups or other forbidden societies.
Let it not be said that you are part of : The perverse who are hard to be corrected along with the number of fools who are infinite. Ecclesiastes 1:15.

NINE DAY NOVENA TO ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA

St. Anthony Novena – Day 1
O holy St. Anthony, you are known for the power and abundance of your miracles. Jesus came into your arms as a humble little child. Pray for me to the Child Jesus for my needs and desires… (Mention your intentions) In imitation of our Lord, you have great mercy and compassion for sinners. Pay no attention to my unworthiness, but instead ask God to show His glory through the answer of my requests. St. Anthony, you cooperated with the grace of God in a radical way with your life. You gave everything to Christ and to your neighbor. Your life glorified God! You are an example of holiness that I will try to follow. You are in heaven praising God with a particular closeness to the King of Kings. With your seat of honor, please beg God to both answer my request and bring me to eternal rest with you. Pray one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and Glory Be to the Father, in honor of Saint Anthony. Saint Anthony, pray for us! Amen.

TRADITIO and the Arian Heresy Era and Joseph’s Reply.

To the Traditio Fathers:

It’s ludicrous to compare these AntiChrist (popes) with anytime in Church history except for the transition from the Jewish faith to the Catholic faith. Pope Liberius never co-operated with the Arians and was exiled for that reason. The Catholic Church teaches that no Pope has ever broken Infallibility, however, until Paul VI who became “The Man of Sin,” proclaimed by St. Paul, the Apostle. He became the Man of Sin as a result of his Instituting the Decree’s of the Vatican II Council and brought us into ,”The Great Apostasy.”  I PROVE that these Vatican II popes are the AntiChrists of the Bible and challenge anyone to prove I’m wrong. If the Vatican II popes are popes than the Church is not Infallible . You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Please do not insult the Mind of the Church by suggesting that God did not reveal these truths for our behalf in the Scriptures so that we could understand and know who these AntiChrists are when they come into the world.   Apostasy & the Beast  http://www.catholicendtimetruths.com. May the Lord have mercy on your soul.

In Christ, Joseph B. D. Saraceno
