The resignation occurred after her two daughters were traumatized by encountering men in the women’s restroom. Dillard Smith explained:

I have shared my personal experience of having taken my elementary school age daughters into a women’s restroom when shortly after three transgender young adults, over six feet [tall] with deep voices, entered. The forensic report, leaked to the Indian news media on Tuesday, directly contradicts a previous analysis released five months ago by a local veterinary hospital, which determined that meat seized at the home of the victim, Muhammad Ikhlaq, was that of a goat. MORE

The country’s unity government has been calling for international backers to speed up the re-arming of its forces ever since it came to power in January 2016. Judge William Mallory enjoys handing out creative sentences from his bench over at the Hamilton County Courthouse.

But the one he meted out in his Municipal Court room Wednesday wasn’t even his idea.

And boy, oh boy did he like it.

Instead of sending Jake Strotman to jail on a misdemeanor attempted assault conviction, Mallory sent the 23-year-old Catholic to a Baptist church for the next 12 Sundays.
