Dear Reader:

20140418-195200Here in Las Vegas there are two music festivals this weekend: Life is Beautiful and iHeart. I cannot vouch for the iHeart, but the Life is Beautiful festival which, as the Church is in the middle of it, I can comment on having witnessed the event. It seems sad that the people of this world want happiness yet irrationally seek it in what can never bring happiness: Evilness. The perverseness of misery is such that one can have a perverse happiness in enjoying evil. The art is not an expression of peacefulness, of truth, of joy and uplifting—it expresses the emptiness and soul except for the

The sin most commit but seldom confessed is FOOLISHNESS

9downloadFoolishness is the result of a person misusing the intelligence God has given him. A fool uses his reasoning skills to make wrong decisions. The most basic type of foolishness is denying God’s existence or saying “no” to God (Psalm 14:1). The Bible associates folly with a quick temper (Proverbs 14:16–17), perverse speech (Proverbs 19:1), and disobedience to parents (Proverbs 15:5). We are born with an innate foolishness, but discipline will help train us in wisdom (Proverbs 22:15). Continue reading

German Bishops new Bible is Mary a Virgin?

25downloadWell here you have it my friends. Life Site News is just now seeing what transpired as a result of the Vatican II Council. This council was called to bring ALL the religions together but to do that Jesus had to be reduced to a mere prophet. Not God man. To do this and suck the other religions into the trap the Councillors made Biblical changes Starting with the American Bible when they changed Isaiah (7:14): from “A virgin shall CONCEIVE,” to a young woman is with child. Ky. family judge: Gay marriage, like ‘jumbo shrimp,’ illogical

timphilpotLOUISVILLE — A Family Court judge who routinely presides over gay adoptions said that gay marriage is an “oxymoron” like “jumbo shrimp” or a “magnificent Chihuahua.”

Appearing before a religious group, Fayette Circuit Court Judge Tim Philpot said he loves homosexuals but their relationships are “sterile” and “just entertainment.”

Addressing the Francis Asbury Society in Wilmore, Ky., on Sept. 8, Philpot called the Supreme Court’s decision last year legalizing gay marriage “pretty close to insane” and warned that “there is no question that polygamy is on the way.” MORE

Why We Are Losing Americans To Prescription Medications?

18downloadMore Americans are consistently taking prescription drugs than ever before. The debate goes on about why. Some cite increases in health concerns, others indicate medical professionals are responsible, and some point to “big pharma” pushing pills.

What is clear is the need for change. An average of three out of every five adults are on prescription medications every year. At a time when these cause more deaths than car accidents, this is worth close examination. MORE

Francis leads Interfaith Peace Meeting in Assisi

3333Pope Francis met Tuesday with religious leaders from around the world in the Italian town of Assisi, where he condemned increasingly prevalent religious violence in the world.

Francis told the leaders from several religions that “there is no God of war,” and that it is important they tell their followers to pray for peace.

“As we pray today, it would be good if we all felt shame, shame that humans, our brothers and sisters, are capable of doing this,” the Catholic leader said. MORE

I’m Pretty Sure Jesus Wouldn’t Stand For A National Anthem, Either

images-7Can’t believe the ignorance of these people. Here is what Jesus would say. “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesars and to God the things that are Gods.”

Conservatives are up in arms over San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand during the playing of the national anthem before a game against Green Bay a few days ago.  Kaepernick explained himself in a statement post-game:  “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.
