When Paul VI rejected the Ottaviani Intervention and announced on November 19, 1969 that all Catholics have to accept all the changes of the Vatican II Council he became automatically excommunicated and as a result brought us into the Great Apostasy and the End Times. As a result broke the line of perpetuity of the papacy. There is no pope during the end times, only AntiChrists.

Q. Father, can we give any credence to the opinion that Cardinal Siri was the Pope? A. T. P., Florida
A. No! Not at all! If, per impossible, he had been Pope, he was the worst pope in the whole history of the Church! Indeed, if he had been pope, then the last three or four popes were anti-popes and he, the Pope, would have submitted to their authority and reforms. Do not forget that Cardinal Siri implemented the reforms of Vatican II, including the reformed liturgy, in his diocese in Genoa; he himself said the New Mass. Had he been the pope, he did nothing to save the Church from the destructive actions of an anti-pope but even co-operated with the latter, and saying the Mass according to the rite reformed (and deformed) by an anti-pope! Even the supposition is absolutely incredible.
Archbishop Lefebvre met him several times and never did Cardinal Siri tell him of any claim that he was the Pope.
Moreover, he nominated no cardinals so that it would now be impossible, after his death, for any other pope to be elected. Some are looking for cardinals named in pectore, that is, in secret by him. However, their claims would be impossible to verify and they would thus be incapable of making an election acceptable to the faithful. This would, rather, open doors for opportunists and interminable contentions.
Some poor faithful fall into such errors because they are an apparently easy way to rationalize the crisis in the Church. All the different sedevacantist positions come from this desire to rationalize the present crisis. This desire is sometimes allied with bitter zeal or with some kind of despair. That the successor of St. Peter organize a meeting such as the one held as Assisi is certainly mind-boggling. To judge him immediately as not being the Pope is an apparently easy solution but, in fact, it destroys the visibility of the Church.
Our Lord on the Cross was disfigured and almost unrecognizable, as is the Church today because of the Modernists, but He was still visible!
Some sedevacantists go so far as to prevent the faithful from attending traditional Masses offered by priests who recognize the Pope, such as Society of St. Pius X priests. By their fruits you shall know them. To deprive these souls of the traditional Mass is a most grievous (and bitter) fruit.
