JERUSALEM (AFP) – A key Israeli minister said Thursday that the government is at risk of collapsing if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s narrow coalition is not enlarged soon.

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan’s comments came amid claims that talks have taken place between Netanyahu and the opposition Zionist Union on joining the coalition, which currently holds a one-seat majority in parliament.

(Vatican Radio) The Press Office of the Holy See on Monday confirmed that Pope Francis met on Saturday, April 2, 2016, with the head of the dissident traditionalist Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (SSPX), Bishop Bernard Fellay.

The confirmation came through a one-sentence communiqué from the Press Office, saying, “The Press Office confirms that Saturday, 2 April, a meeting took place in the Vatican between Pope Francis and Bishop Bernard, Fellay, Superior General of the St. Pius X Fraternity.” MORE

A reproduction of the Temple of Baal is coming to New York’s Times Square next month as a tribute to the 2,000-year-old original structure that was destroyed by ISIS last year in Palmyra, Syria.

The reproductions will be made using a 3-D printer, producing a life-size model of the temple’s entrance. Officials say those models will be installed in both New York City and London’s Trafalgar Square this Spring. MORE
