Muslim-American group has been putting up billboards in Seattle as part of a national campaign to educate Americans about the Prophet Muhammad, the most well-known prophet of the Islamic religion.
The Islamic Circle of North America has paid for four billboards around the Seattle area, with such messages as “Muhammad – peace be upon him –believed in peace, social justice, women’s rights.” Billboards also include a phone number and a website for passers-by who want more information. MORE

Twitter user @san_kaido posted a photo of mutated yellow daisies last month, found in Nasushiobara City, around 70 miles from Fukushima, the site of the 2011 nuclear disaster. The photos show daisies with fused yellow centres and with the petals growing out the side of the flower. MORE
If you are a beachgoer in Florida, then beware that the water you’re swimming in contains a rare, but potentially fatal bacteria called Vibrio vulnificus. So far this year, nine people have been infected by the bacteria and three have died from it. Cases have been reported across six different counties.
Last year, Florida saw 32 cases of infection statewide and a total of seven reported deaths. So far, deaths have occurred in Brevard County, Marion County, and Hillsborough County. MORE
