Mirror Mirror on the wall,
can you see our nation fall,
headline scream of our decay,
is there any hope today,
smog-ed up blind and traffic choke,
wages bind and buildings smoke,
welfare roles are soaring high,
hard drugs cause our young to die,
villains are hero’s on T.V.
while legal loop holes set them free,
morality is a foreign word,
love with marriage is absurd,
campus riots, no win wars,
busing is a feasted sore,
candidates are often shot,
when they seek a major spot,
hijacked plans are left depressed,
schools are in an awful mess,
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
is there any hope at all.
