Pentecost Sunday and Easter Sunday are of the same Rank but most Catholics and the Fathers don’t treat them equally. We are now in the original Easter Season. Pentecost Sunday is the last SUNDAY of the Easter Season (Pasch). Catholics are getting more like protestants. After resurrection Sunday, it’s all over. The day that Heaven gets opened is Ascension Thursday, Mostly forgotten. Pentecost Sunday is an equal Rank with Resurrection Sunday and unless family’s are involved with confirmation, that to is mostly forgotten.
Unfortunately the importance of Pentecost Sunday has been elevated over the fact that it’s listed as the first day of the General Judgment in the Scriptures, A Holy day of Obligation and Tradition. The birthday of the Hebrew and Catholic Church. The ten Commandments and the Holy Ghost.
Paul VI and Vatican Council II brought us into the “Great Apostasy (schism)” spoken of by St. Paul and the Apostles. The Great Apostasy lasts about 45 to 50 years (from 1969) so this raises the importance more so accept for the Great Biblical Chastisement which should take place during Lent.
Paul VI is listed in the Scriptures as the, “Man of Sin.” and the first of the many AntiChrist’s before Our Lord returns.
