In Genesis 9:12-15 God promised He would never flood the earth again, our token of that promise is the rainbow. So we know Christ is not speaking of a literal flood. Rather, Christ is talking about the flood of lies and deception Satan will shower on the earth during the Tribulation. The accounts of this fact are numerous in God’s Word. LINK
