Dear President Enrique Pena Nieto:

Congratulations on your presidential election. In reading about you in the paper I see that you are concerned over the welfare of your people and the state of the economy. 

As an American neighbor, I share this concern with you and I would like to make two suggestions that I feel would help you obtain some of these goals. One, Give the Mexican people the right to own property. Doing this will help the building industry.

Second, I suggest the legalization and regularization of marijuana. Doing this will help keep a large amount of money away from the drug traffickers, help the economy and lessen the cost of fighting the gangs.
