Ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, & of the table of devils

handsI Corinthians 10:13-21

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.    Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils [demons] .

The CANONICAL, MORAL and DOGMATIC Grounds for rejecting the NEW (Mass) and Retaining the TRUE MASS.–1975

Now available, and back in print by yours truly. Written by Father Gommar DePauw R.I.P. a doctor of Canon Law who wrote and spearheaded the Traditional Catholic movement in late 60s. Thirty eight pages explaining why we must reject the new mass. Page 23 .
“Among the twenty-seven dogmatic reasons cited by Cardinal OTTAVIANI and BACCI as justification for rejecting the “New Order of the mass, “the Number Eleven, dealing with ” THE CHANGE IN FORMULATION,” calls for our special attention.
Ever since the COUNCIL OF TRENT’s INFALLIBLE definitions on the Mass were published in 1566 by Pope ST. Pius V, no Catholic has ever questioned the Church’s teaching that the proper FROM for the Consecration in the Mass

Of the THIRTY-SIX POPES who succeeded ST. Pius V NOT ONE ever dared to change as much as ONE WORD in that Consecration form. And, up to ten years ago, even the wildest liturgical Reformations– knowing as well as any other Catholic that very validity of the Mass was at stake– always agreed that NO ONE, NOT EVEN A POPE, could or would ever touch the words of Consecration, or the entire Canon, for that matter.
Enters the “progressive” (liberal)   former Pius XII–exile (Montini-Paul VI) from Milan on

the scene, and in scarcely more time than it took us to get used to the pope without a tiara, the world is told that the only Mass allowed from now on, is a NEW one, with an abbreviated and, at least in some of it’s “official” translations, MUTILATED CONSECRATION FORM.

The peddlers of the New Mass did not miss any details either. It certainly was not just for esthetic or decorative purposes that in the past all printers of the MISSALE ROMANUM were obligated to always print the “form” of the Consecration in bold and outstanding letters.

The reason behind this prescription was to even visually inculcate that, when pronouncing the words of Consecration, the priest was not just quoting certain words as part of a narrative description of an an event that happened long ago, but was –at that moment truly “another Christ” — pronouncing the CONSTITUTIVE FORM of the unbloody renewal of the Sacrifice of the Cross. And one would have to be re all naive to believe that it was just “by accident” that the reformers also changed the printing type in their “Eucharistic Prayers,” as they now call what used to be the “Canon of the Mass.”  (The accompanying Consecration and “Eucharistic Prayer” words are photographic reproductions of the original.)  page 24.

(Again) It has been the constant teaching of ALL POPES and ECUMENICAL (dogmatic) COUNCILS, ever since the Church was founded twenty centuries ago, that not even the CHURCH–NEITHER POPE NOR BISHOP — Has the right or the power to touch the SUBSTANCE OF THE SACRAMENTS instituted by Jesus Christ. No one could possibly misunderstand, or even differently interpret, the clear pronouncements made to that effect, by all Popes, and especially by two of the twentieth century.

There you have it my friends. This is just 1 1/4 pages of the 38 pages explaining  our Mass.
