The Index of Forbidden Books was abolished by Pope Paul VI

The Index of Forbidden Books, new revelations, messages, etc, was abolished by Pope Paul VI because it had become essentially impossible to enforce. With the increasing influence of print and electronic media, yes, even in 1966, people were getting learning about these banned works anyway. Also, there was a (misplaced?) spirit of free inquiry at the time.

Friends, this explanation for why Paul VI did away with the Index is misleading. We had Bishops all over the world which could be approached for permission to publish. The real reason he did away with the Index was to foster the Vatican II Spirit of the “Open windows for fresh air,”  In other words to allow all the other Spirits freedom to roam through-out the world in order to sow more confusion among the Faithful. The old game of “Divide and Conquer,” holds true as a divided Church cannot stand.

Ambiguity a word or expression that can be understood in two or more possible waysand when used in religion it mostly leads to Heresy.

False Asceticism.* 1Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the last times some will turn away from the faith by paying attention to deceitful spirits and demonic instructions 2 through the hypocrisy of liars with branded consciences. They will forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.b 4For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected when received with thanksgiving,c 5 for it is made holy by the invocation of God in prayer.*  1 Timothy 4:3Now in as much as the Vatican II Council did not forbid marriage they did devalue the Sacredness of it by pope John XXIII’s Birth Control Commission and loosening up the Annulment process, which in turn has lead us into a world wide Anti-Christian Society. Marriage is almost obsolete and the few who are getting married are having fewer children and at a later age. Not to mention the high divorce rate.
There is an old saying that. “All Roads lead to Rome.”  Well now it’s the disastrous roads coming out to Rome but we can’t put all the blame on Rome. The Democratization of the Nations have lead to the freedom of opinion and choice among the Catholic laity which helped in promote the down-fall to the point of where we are today.
The Dangers of the Last Days.*1But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days.a2People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious,b3callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good, 4traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.   2 Timothy 3
More proof positive that we are living in the “Great Apostasy,” and the End Times and please do not separate the two. They go together and the end result is the Second Coming of Christ on that Last Pentecost Sunday, (Saturday in the West) when that last AntiChrist pope goes to Jerusalem for the inter-faith gathering.
Grace be with you, in Christ, Joseph
