Ten Crazy things some (even Traditional) Catholics believe

Heartland Institute Unveils New Book on Why the Earth Is Flat – FTAP

The world is flat.
It would be easy to dismiss flat-Earthers as simply being misguided due to a lack of education. While there are indications that those susceptible to such views have low levels of scientific literacy, Landrum at Texas Tech says that flat-Earthers aren’t necessarily people who don’t believe in science. “It’s not really an education thing,” she says. “It really is about distrusting authorities and institutions. [It] seems to be based on both a conspiracy mentality and a deeply held belief that looks a lot like religiosity but isn’t necessarily specifically tied to a religion”.

God can do anything.
Within reason. God can not change divine revelation or take away your free will. He could not stop his crucifixion. Or the End of this world.

Elias and Enoch did not die but are not in Heaven and they will come back as the two witnesses of the Apocalypse and will unite the faithful in restoring the Church.
To begin with NO-BODY comes back from the other world except for the general judgment. Paradise was the place all of the old testament Saints stayed until Christ opened Heaven. Then Paradise was eliminated.
Second of all any Traditional Catholic who by now does not see that this is the “Great Apostasy” and that our only hope today is Christ’s return. If all the Traditional Fathers cannot unite the Traditionalists how could two lay persons of Elias and Enoch do it. Hello.

The AntiChrist will be a Jew.
To begin with, he is prophesied to come from the Tribe of Dan. To be a Jew one has to come from the tribe of Judah. Another reason many think he will be a Jew is because most of the symbols in the book of the Apocalypse are Jewish. “Hence, the Synagogue of Satan.” The Church teaches that the AntiChrist will most likely be a false pope. None of these Vatican II popes are Jewish so far. So until it’s over no Jew false pope in sight yet.

The AntiChrist will be UN-corruptible.
That would give him more power than Jesus Christ.

Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary’s baby did not pass through the womb, but miraculously passed through her side.
Our Lord did not become a human being to be excluded from any part of human experience. Passing through the womb does not effect our Lady’s Virginity.

Satan has two horns.
This comes from the two horns of Moses and the two horn miter. The two horns of AntiChrist also comes from the two names of some popes who took the names of other false popes. Every pope is a HORN of salvation because they are also Prophets High Priests and Doctors.. John-Paul.
Christ eliminated Major Prophets when he established the Papacy, until the Two witness are appointed in the time of the AntiChrists.

Our Lady did not age after her 33rd birthday.
There is no credible evidence to substantiate this claim. It is generally accepted that when Our Lady left us she was in her early 50’s. The picture of Mary that emerges through the Gospels is at times powerful and detailed. She celebrates. She suffers. She observes. She prays. She treasures things in her heart and reflects on them. … To understand what seems to be a rather casual first appearance of Mary in Scripture, we need to place Matthew 1:16 in the context of the whole of Mathew’s first chapter and pull in John 1:1-5.[62]

All of the living Apostles were bilocated for Our Lady’s funeral.
Well first of all no one witnessed Our Lady’s departure from this world. St. John woke up one morning and Our Lady was gone with her clothes left behind, and if the Apostles wanted to gather to celebrate her departure fine but there is no recording in the scripture of this event. I was taught this in my confirmation class around 1951. Also it is generally believed that she was taken up body and soul in the same manner that our Lord left us on Ascension Thursday and this is what happens to the whole human race on Judgment Day.

We will have the “Three days of Darkness,” Before the End?
The “Three Days of Darkness” is a private revelation of several Catholic saints and mystics.  It is said to be three days where there will be no light and hell will be loosed upon the world.  Whether this lack of light is to be taken literally of figuratively is debated.  Threats of the action of Divine Justice are often given to change behavior and can be avoided if the appropriate change takes place.  It is debated whether the “Three Days of Darkness” were averted due to appropriate repentance and penance or whether it is still to come. Either way, private revelations are not binding on the faithful.  Catholics are free to debate the whether the Three Days of Darkness is still to come or to believe it is completely symbolic.
There is also controversy over whether the twentieth century saint and stigmatist Padre Pio of Pietreclina endorsed and taught the future Three Days of Darkness. The authenticity of the alleged words of Saint Pio are disputed.[5][6]

God’s promise after the flood, “… As long as the earth shall last, seed time and harvest,  cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” Gen: 8:22
