Sins Against Faith: Bad Popes in the past, The deposit of Faith

Taken from.”Deliverance Prayers,” by Father Chad Ripperger
In recalling what the Church has always taught, Father Ripperger reminds us of the following “Sins Against Faith.”
Willful doubt of any article of faith: deliberate ignorance of the truths of faith which ought to be known; neglect in instructing oneself in the faith according to one’s state in life; rash credulity (e.g. giving credence to private revelation to easily or believing in a private revelations which has been condemned by the  lawful Church authorities.) apostasy; heresy; indifferent-ism (to believe that one religion is as good as another, and that all religions are equally true and pleasing to God, or that one is free to accept or reject any or all religions); reading or circulating books or writings against the Catholic belief or practice in such wise as to jeopardize one’s or another s faith; to remain silent when asked about one’s faith; engaging in schismatic or heretical worship; joining or supporting masonic groups who are out to undermine the faith or other forbidden societies.

A response to a face-book article on Bad Popes.

Good article David but this is not a case of a bad pope. Most Catholics are aware of the immoral popes of the past but even here most don’t know why. So briefly I will explain. It started with Julian the Apostate, who went back to the pagan Gods and appointed heretical Bishops to under-mine the Church. So even after he died the church lacked state protection to the point that the good Catholic countries and Rome had to form their own Armies. Now all of a sudden popes had to fight wars, wheel and deal with politics, bribery and the like. However none of the popes in history tampered with the deposit of the faith, Catholic Encyclopedia 1912 under “Infallibility.” that is until Paul VI and the closing of the Vatican II Council. This new church was designed to make all the religions equal to a one inter-faith gospel. The Bibles were changed to make Jesus just another prophet, the Mass, the last supper and priests are now just ministers. So all Francis is doing is fallowing in the steps of Paul VI and the Council. He is just an extension of the Great Apostasy and AntiChrist system started by the Council. Eventually they want to make Jerusalem the peace and religious center of the world for all the religions. So this is an ongoing process and Christ cannot come back until they reach their goals.
The Deposit of faith & Papal Infallibility.

Once again, one has to understand that Catholics are only obligated to accept the deposit of faith. That is The Pope &
Hierarchy, the Bible and Tradition. Private revelations have NO jurisdiction on the faithful, even those that are
approved by the Church.  Also there is no such thing as new Divine Revelation. The Bible, Church teaching and Tradition has everything we need to know from the beginning to the end of the world. However one needs to understand that the interpretation of prophecy is not generally understood completely until they happen. As with the case with the V-2 Council and Mainly Paul VI.  Without these events the book of the Apocalypse. the AntiChrists would still be a big Mystery.

Let it not be said that you are part of :The perverse who are hard to be corrected along with the number of fools who are infinite. Ecclesiastes 1:15.
Grace be with you, in Christ, Joseph
